Child's 10 Commandments to Parents

Image
  1. My hands are small; please don't expect perfection whenever I make a bed, draw a picture, or throw a ball. My legs are short; please slow down so that I can keep up with you.   2. My eyes have not seen the world as yours have; please let me explore safely: don't restrict me unnecessarily.   3. Housework will always be there. I'm only little for such a short time – please take time to explain things to me about this wonderful world, and do so willingly.   4. My feelings are tender; please be sensitive to my needs; don't nag me all day long. (You wouldn't want to be nagged for your inquisitiveness.) Treat me as you would like to be treated.   5. I am a special gift from God; please treasure me as God intended you to do, holding me accountable for my actions, giving me guidelines to live by, and disciplining me in a loving manner.   6. I need your encouragement, but not your praise, to grow. Please go easy on the criticism; remember, you can cor...

Clean the window

A young couple moves into a new neighborhood. The next morning, while they are eating breakfast, the young woman sees her neighbor hang the wash outside. That laundry is not very clean, she said, she doesn't know how to wash correctly. Perhaps she needs better laundry soap. Her husband looked on, but remained silent. Every time her neighbour would hang her wash to dry, the young woman would make the same comments. About one month later, the woman was surprised to see a nice clean wash on the line and said to her husband: "Look! She has learned how to wash correctly. I wonder who taught her this." The husband said: "I got up early this morning and cleaned our windows!" And so it is with life: Moral: What we see when watching others depends on the purity of the window through which we look. Before we give any criticism, it might be a good idea to check our state of mind and ask ourselves if we are ready to judge .

Give your 100% to your commitments

A boy and a girl were playing together. The boy had a collection of marbles. The girl had some sweets with her. The boy told the girl that he will give her all his marbles in exchange for her sweets. The girl agreed. The girl kept the biggest and the favorite sweet aside and gave the rest to the boy. The boy gave her all the marbles as he had promised. That night, the boy slept peacefully. But the girl couldn't sleep as she kept wondering if the boy had hidden some marbles from her the way she had hidden her best sweet. Moral of the story: Give your hundred percent to everything you do and sleep peacefully. If you don't give your hundred percent in a relationship, you'll always keep doubting if the other person has given his/her cent percent. If someone hasn't, let them stay awake and worry.

Look at the Other Side..

A Father was reading a magazine and his little daughter every now and then distracted him. To keep her busy,he tore one page on which was printed the map of the world. He tore it into pieces and asked her to go to her room and put them together to make the map again. He was sure she would take the whole day to get it done. But the little one came back within minutes with perfect map... When he asked how she could do it so quickly, she said,"Oh... Dad,there is a man's face on the other side of the paper... I made the face perfect to get the map right." she ran outside to play leaving the father surprised. Moral of the Story : Friends,There is always the other side to whatever you experience in this world. Whenever we come across a challenge or a puzzling situation, look at the other side... You will be surprised to see an easy way to tackle the problem..
